Appy Couple: Real Proposal

You might remember me briefly mentioning our wedding website (and app!) in my post about iPhone organization…I love our Appy Couple website!!  It was fun and easy to make - you design the website, and it automatically creates an app version as well…and there are literally a million aspects of it I don't even take full advantage of!

Anyway, I will go into way more detail about ours and all of its goodness at a later date - that is not the point of this post!!  The point of this post is to share with you the most recent blog post from Appy Couple's blog, Love Notes….check it out here! I'll give you a minute :)….

Yup! Ant and I are featured as a part of their "Real Proposals" series.

Now…if you happen to follow Appy Couple on instagram, you may have noticed this picture that was posted four months ago.  Someone from Appy Couple had reached out to me and asked if I would be willing to share the story of how Ant and I met, along with a picture of my ring.  So I did!

At the end of last week, Maggie reached out to me again and asked if this time I would be willing to share our proposal story and a few pictures, for their blog.  Ironically enough, I had JUST written out the longer version of our proposal for our Justice of the Peace, so it was very easy to send that along with a couple of my favorite pictures.  Just about a week later she emailed me that it was up on the blog!  Pretty neat, huh?

Not going to lie…I love sharing the story of the day Ant proposed to me!  I don't need to do it very often anymore, so it's really fun to see it online for the rest of the Appy Couple world :)  The entire day was just very us…

Here's an excerpt for you…but then you should really go check out the blog post!

"I barely processed any of it! The last note said “so you might be laughing, or maybe crying, or probably both…but I need you to focus!” (he knows me so well) and gave me direction on where to meet him.  He was down by the water at Chaffinch Park in Guilford…a place we refer to as “ours”….it was low tide and he was out at the edge of the rocks waiting for me with the most beautiful ring.  I’ll never forget how nervous he looked, or how happy I was!"
