About Me

I started this blog back in 2013 when my boyfriend proposed and we started planning our wedding!  I fell in love with the bridal industry and everything about our wedding planning process - and have had so much fun sharing it here!  My husband and I were married at the Branford House on August 8, 2014 on the most perfect day, and we've enjoyed married life every day since.

Since then, I've continued to blog about our lives as newlyweds living on the CT shoreline!  We live in the best town in Connecticut (slightly biased) - and in 2013, while planning our wedding we bought an adorable house in a lakeside community.  With the help of our family we've since made our little black cape our home - and have a never ending list of projects we love to tackle!  We became parents (puppy parents!) in February of 2015 to the most loving, hilarious pup Franklin.

On May 21st, 2016 our lives changed forever when we found out I was pregnant!

This past January (2017) we added another little love to the family - our daughter Tilly Elizabeth!  She was born January 25 at 6:43 AM - a 9lb bundle of breech sweetness and sass.

I LOVE planning vacations, almost as much as I loved planning our wedding, and we are always looking for the next adventure!  I love the thrill of searching for JUST the right flight/hotel/sights to make each adventure a once in a lifetime experience.  I hope to share as much as I can about our planning processes here, in case it helps inspire you to plan your next trip!
